The vibrant city of Havana, Cuba, 5th June 2024 played host. Professor A. Rabdel Ruiz-Salvador, a distinguished researcher from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO), graced the gathering with a captivating seminar that delved into the intricacies of “Modeling Porous Materials.”
Professor Salvador’s presentation shed light on the crucial aspects of designing, developing, and characterizing zeolites, MONs, and MOFs. These materials are the cornerstone of VALZEO WP2’s ambitious goals, which include developing functional materials that can revolutionize water treatment and catalysis processes.
The seminar provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with upscaling the manufacturing of these materials, a critical step towards realizing their full potential in addressing pressing environmental concerns and contributing to sustainable biofuel production.
